Can I get a nursing degree online? Can I get financial aid?

We are living overseas now and I really want to get my degree. Due to exchange rates, I can’t afford to go to local colleges and I don’t think their nursing degrees would be accepted in the states. Is it possible to get such a degree on line and how would I go about getting financial aid to help me with this? We can’t afford it on our own. Thanks for your time!
You must think I am REALLY stupid! Of course, I will need to do clinicals. That is my question, I just assumed that this information was a given in this question. Any time you are doing a nursing degree, your clinicals are performed at a local hospital, etc. You may do some labs in school, but your real practice is by doing it. I don’t see why you can’t take the classes on line and still be able to do your clinicals at a local hospital monitered by the education system. Have any of you ever done online classes? There are great programs out there! So please if you know of such a program for nursing, please, politely give me your information instead of assuming that I’m an idiot. The more I do yahoo questions the more I see how rude and inconsiderate a lot of people are. Who’s the ignorant one here? There are polite ways to word things. You don’t just jump into nursing, either. I need to know what classes I can take now so that later, I can jump straight into the nursing.

I don’t think you can get a nurse’s degree online, if you can I doubt many places would take it. Nurses need hands on teaching.
Check the online colleges to see what they offer, but they can be expensive too.
Yes and no. You can do alot of classes on-line, but you can not do the clinical part on-line. You have to go to a place that is set up for the clinical trial part of it. The financial aid part, I know nothing about.
You may get some general classes of nursing online, but nursing program need to be practiced in “real” campus. There is NO financial aid for international students for almost of schools in U.S, some schools offer based on need financial aid for international students but very rarely (for example, Harvard College).
Now that made me laugh. Doing a nursing degree on-line. Now who the hell would employ someone with one of theses? hey get real here. You you trust a nurse who happened to got their degree on line? I wouldn’t that for sure. You be sued for malpractice
