How will my credits transfer from CSU East Bay to community colleges for the nursing program?

I took my pre-reqs. at Cal State East Bay for their nursing program and I am applying to community colleges as well. Will my credits transfer because CSU East Bay goes on a quarter system and community colleges usually go by semesters? Was anyone able to do this?
