To become a Dermatologist, do you have to have a degree in nursing?

    To be an actual dermatologist, you have to go to medical school.

    You have to go to medical school and become a doctor before you can become a specialist. Then you would continue with post-graduate education in the field of dermatology.

    thats new to me…never heard ..that a nursing degree was necessary for a dermatologist

    well i wish it was that easy
    First you need to have a bachelor, apply to medical school(competitive) which will take you 4 years and do an additional 3-4 yrs of residency, so it might take you a minute bt it is doable. You don’t need to be a nurse. Hope it helps
