What are the different types of nurses & degrees & what do they mean?

I have heard people talk about the different types of nurses & the degrees & i would just like to know all of them & what exactly they are because I’m very interested in a medical career.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Associates Degree Required
Registered Nurse (RN): Bachelors Degree Required
Practicing Nurse (PN): Master Degree Required
These are the basic categories but there are other designations. A PN is on the same level as a Physicians Assistant (PA).
The most in demand nurse is an RN.
